From the Stromness ferry terminal -
As you exit the ferry turn right onto Ferry Road
After 0.3 miles at the roundabout, continue straight onto N End Road/A965
After 0.8 miles turn left onto A967
After 3.1 miles continue straight onto B9056
After 2.1 miles turn right onto B9057
After 0.2 miles Kierfiold House and Cottages will be on the left. It’s a large white house set back from the road, with a flag pole. The cottages are straight ahead as you come up the drive.
From Kirkwall -
Head west om Ayre Road/A965 towards Burgh Road
After 0.3 miles at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto A965
After 9.8 miles turn right onto B9055
After 4.4 miles turn right onto A967, then immediately left onto the A967 (signposted Skara Brae)
After 1.1 miles, as you come down to Skaill Loch, turn right onto the B9056
After 0.2 miles turn right onto the B9057, after 0.2 miles Kierfiold House and Cottages will be on the left. It’s a large white house set back from the road, with a flag pole. The cottages are straight ahead as you come up the drive.
